Four- Star Hotel
For those still wanting a luxurious night or two away but not willing to spend a fortune, perhaps a four-star hotel might be for you. We closely worth with several different four-star hotels in Kilkenny city. Our favourites are Pembroke Kilkenny, Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel and Hotel Kilkenny.
Pembroke Kilkenny Hotel is in the heart of Kilkenny city, a fresh and modern hotel. Lie back and relax as you are pampered by expertly trained therapists in their Mint Spa. Grab a coffee and a scone, a casual lunch or dinner in their Statham’s restaurant. This restaurant is casual and relaxed, perfect for those looking for a chill weekend!
Hotel Kilkenny, located a few minutes from the city centre, is the perfect hotel for any group type. They have a fabulous leisure centre with a 20-metre swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room, kids club, gym, hairdresser on site and treatment rooms. They also have a vast range of meeting & conference space. Relax and unwind with these amazing facilities. Dine in their smart urban bar, Pure Bar or their bistro style restaurant, Taste Restaurant for an unforgettable meal.
Three-Star Hotels
Three- star hotels are one of our most common hotel picks. We work closely with a few hotels in this category however our favourite one is The Springhill Court Hotel. This hotel is only a stone throw away from the city centre. Springhill Court Hotel have a fabulous leisure centre with a 19- metre swimming pool, heated seat area, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, children’s pool and fully equipped gym. They also have a hair salon, Image Hair Studio!
Guesthouses and B&B’s
If you are on a budget, Guesthouses and B&B’s are another option. We have contacts with several Guesthouses and B&B’s in Kilkenny city. Our favourite guesthouse is Larragh House, a four-star luxury guesthouse accommodation. Located a walking distance from the city centre.
The Rafter Demsey’s
Another great spot is The Rafter Demsey’s located in the heart of Kilkenny city. They have a lovely restaurant, bar and guesthouse. The guesthouse accommodation includes sixteen Ensuite rooms designed with a great flair, taste, and attention to detail. Each bedroom has a television, ironing board and hairdryer. Tea and coffee are also available upon request. Most of the bedrooms are twin and double bedrooms however there are a few family bedrooms. The Rafter Dempey’s bar specialises in local and craft beers, stout, lagers and ciders, as well as the more conventional ones. They serve traditional Irish food daily. Every Saturday night, there is live music. Local bands play music from the 60’s up to today’s charts.
Self-catering
Self-catering is perfect for families or large groups. Most of the self-catering accommodation we offer is situated in the heart of the city centre. This type of accommodation is ideal for those looking for an inexpensive experience. All the properties are fully equipped with kitchen and dining areas. No need to go out for lunch or dinner as you can cook at home to save more money. Cheap and cheerful, what more could you want?
Glamping
If you’re the more adventurous type, why not try out glamping? This is an affordable way to try something different! This accommodation is the perfect excuse to soak up the fabulous Irish countryside.
